Dreams Lullaby was inspired by the birth of three new members to the family and sleepless nights for the mother's. As a child I always loved lullabies and when training classically I was always drawn to sing 20th century lullabies when ever I got the chance. So this opened up the creative juices and out came this lullaby which draws from my own childhood memories/ experiences combined with inspiration from all the young members of my family.

Hush my little one, close your eyes
rest your head, it's time for bed.
Mummy and Daddy are right near by
to keep you safe throughout the night.

So, close your eyes and go to sleep
drift away to the land of dreams.
There you can play and do a million things,
be a wizard, be a farmer be an astronaut.

Hush my little one, close your eyes
rest your head, it's time for bed.
The shadows on the walls are your dancing friends
who dance to the music of the howling wind

So, close your eyes and go to sleep
Your pillow is the gateway to the land of dreams.
There you can dance and be a million things
be a painter, be a singer or a gymnast on a trampoline.

Hush my little one, close your eyes
rest your head, it's time for bed.
Mummy and daddy found all the sheep
so you can count them as you go to sleep

So close your eyes and go to sleep
your bed is the ship that sails to the land of dreams
There you can sail across the many seas
be a swimmer, be a sailor, or a fishermen.
